I was born and raised in a business environment—literally. Growing up in my family’s automotive company in Massachusetts, I was exposed to every aspect of running a business. At just 14, I started working in customer service, later taking on operational, financial, and management roles that gave me firsthand insight into what makes businesses thrive—or struggle.
This early experience shaped my passion for understanding leadership, business strategy, and workplace culture. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Political Science, which solidified my ability to connect with people, navigate complex leadership dynamics, and communicate effectively across different industries. This foundation became crucial in my work helping leaders build engaged, motivated teams.
I am an award winning lecturer at Bentley University, where I teach business strategy, organizational behavior, and leadership. My teaching career has spanned institutions such as Boston University, Merrimack College, Endicott College, and Suffolk University, where I’ve helped students connect theory to real-world business challenges.
In the classroom, I take an interactive, hands-on approach—using simulations, group work, and case studies to make complex business concepts practical and engaging. I’ve taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, in-person and online, ensuring that learning is dynamic and applicable.
Through my research, I developed the Engaged Empathy Leadership Model™(EELM™)—a framework that helps businesses engage, retain, and inspire employees through kindness, fairness, and structure. My work focuses on modern leadership strategies that help organizations navigate generational shifts, employee expectations, and evolving workplace cultures.
FastCompany, MSN, Black Enterprise, Boston Business Journal, Maine Biz, and other business publications. Academic journals on generational leadership and organizational behavior
I’m open to media inquiries, interviews, speaking engagements, consulting, and writing opportunities. If you’re interested in discussing leadership trends or applying EELM™ to your
organization.
